Keogh Report

NHS Medical Director Sir Bruce Keogh has called for new laws to overhaul the cosmetic aesthetics industry.

Amongst the key demands called for were:

• Compulsory Registration and improved training for all those involved in the industry.

• A ban on ‘cut price’ deals.

• Facial fillers to be prescription only.

• An ombudsman to oversee all private health care including cosmetic procedures to help those who have been treated poorly.
