BAAPS Annual Meeting

The British Association of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeons President last week expressed his surprise and frustration about the Keogh report in which many recommendations (in the region of 30 recommendations were made in order to regulate and make safe the cosmetic industry in the UK.  To date, several months later, precisely none of these recommendations have been activated.  The President of BAAPS felt that the most urgent single recommendation he would like to see actioned was the regulation of filler injections both in terms of the quantity of different fillers available in the UK (vastly in excess of the number available in the USA) and the type of Practitioner qualified to deliver filler injections.
